FAQ’s
What is there for my kids?
There is a nursery, Seedlings, available for infants and toddlers. The Sprouts class is for preschool age children. There will be time for play, snack, Bible story time, and music. Young children are always welcome to remain with parents during worship, too.
We invite all elementary age students to join our Harvest Kids class. This class gives our students the opportunity to join the main service for worship and then exit with their teachers to a classroom for an age-appropriate Bible lesson and fun filled activities. We are going chronologically through the Bible and are currently learning about God’s people during the time of the judges.
What is a typical service like?
The gospel stirs our affections for Jesus. One way we demonstrate these affections is through singing. We sing a variety of songs, both ancient and new, that engages both heart and mind with serious joy in Jesus. You’re welcome to sing along or simply observe.
Preaching
We preach from an ancient text with relevant applications. The Bible is our authority and the Gospel is central. Typically, we work through books of the Bible, verse-by-verse, taking the point of the passage as the point of the message. The glorious person, work, and mission of Christ is paramount in all of our teaching and preaching.
Communion
We celebrate communion once a month. During this time, we remember Jesus’ great work on our behalf to satisfy the wrath of God and bring us into relationship with Him. God invites all those who have trusted in Jesus to come and feast with Him.
What time does it start?
The worship service starts at 10am, but many people come early to enjoy a cup of coffee, talk, meet others, and/or attend pre-service prayer.
Where do I park ?
Most people park behind the building and use the rear building entrance. After you enter the building, our space to worship is straight ahead, and the childcare classrooms are down the hall, to the left. Every Sunday our Welcome Team will be standing by to guide you to our gathering space, nurseries, etc. Wheelchair access is available through every entrance.
What do I wear ?
At Parkview, we are a family made of people from all walks of life. Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
