Ministries

Kids

The heart of children’s ministry at our church is to teach kids about who Jesus is and how the gospel applies to their lives in real and engaging ways. Through creative teaching, supportive environments, and close knit small group classes, we guide kids towards a better understanding of what it means to have a relationship with God. We want children to know that all the stories in the Bible are true and matter, that fun and games are definitely allowed at church, that worship can be full of loud music and silly dancing, and that there are adults in the church who truly want to love and lead them closer to Jesus.

Students

Student ministry is a huge part of what we do at our church. We want to guide our students in developing a personal faith in Christ as they step into their specific roles in the story He’s writing with their lives. We work hard to create environments that engage students in good conversation about God, encouraging them to ask questions, search out answers, and truly learn to listen to His leading in their lives. And maybe even have a little fun while they’re at it!

We know that the middle and high school years are a time where students are most in need of kindness and community and someone to walk alongside them as they grow. Our student ministry provides just that, connecting students with one another as well as with leaders who want to support them in their journeys. Both middle and high school groups meet weekly, each focusing on worship, teaching, and small groups to encourage students in their faith.

Adults

We all carry a longing to be known, understood, and supported, and one of the richest ways this takes shape is when men connect deeply with other men and women with other women. There’s a kind of understanding that comes from shared experience—men who can challenge and encourage one another, women who can empathize and walk alongside one another. Yet, in a culture that prizes independence and self-sufficiency, it’s easy to miss how much we actually need each other. Real community gives us a place to be honest without fear, to celebrate without envy, and to shoulder burdens we weren’t meant to carry alone. The beauty of brotherhood and sisterhood is found in that mutual knowing and being known, where life is no longer something we endure on our own but something we share—and in sharing, we flourish.

Community Groups

During the school year, small groups of people from our church and the surrounding community gather together to learn and explore what it means to follow Jesus. Some meet after church for lunch and others throughout the week. These groups gather to laugh, cry, share, rejoice, pray, care for, support, and encourage one another in faith through relationships. Regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age, background, or story, community groups are a great place to belong. Although Lilburn and the surrounding areas are saturated with people, it’s easy to feel alone and anonymous. We invite you to come and live life with us in community and to join a group!

Fresh Hope

Fresh Hope is an international network of Christian support groups for those who have a mental health diagnosis and for their loved ones. At the core of Fresh Hope is the belief that it is possible to live well in spite of having a mental health challenge because of the hope found in Christ; that no matter how one feels, it is possible to still have hope because of Christ.

A Fresh Hope group is a peer-to-peer-led, safe, encouraging, and healing environment where real hope and real healing take place and the sure hope of Christ is foundational.
